Steamroller Prints. (www.steamrollerprintproject.com)
In 2000, I started The Day of the Dead Steamroller Print Project in Missoula, as a means to get students, artists and local schools to come together in a cooperative event to celebrate life, art and community. This was the first event in the country to combine the Day of the Dead celebration with Steamroller printing. Since then many more similar projects have sprung up.
To date I have done over 21 Steamroller projects, in Montana, Indiana, Maui, New Mexico and Idaho. The images included here are some of the blocks I have cut over the years. |
